Kingsley Field JLUS Implementation Public Workshop
The City of Klamath Falls, in cooperation with Klamath County, Crater Lake-Klamath Regional Airport, and Kingsley Field, hosted a public workshop on Tuesday, October 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Klamath Falls City Council Chambers. The purpose of the workshop was to present information on the proposed draft Airport Safety and Hazard Protection Overlay (ASHPO) Zone being developed for Klamath Falls and Klamath County. These overlay zones are updates to the existing overlay zones for the City and County and will be used to guide compatible future development around the airport to protect the missions and flight operations of the airport and Kingsley Field and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of Klamath Falls and Klamath County.
